Goar B is the mastermind behind the innovative music concept and the iconic hit of "Mambo No.5" and the album "A Little Bit of Mambo". Both the music production and the entire image concept originated from him.
After conceptualizing the musical direction and sound, he engaged David Balemezi to represent his project "Lou Bega. Goar B was signed worldwide for 10 years as a music producer with his "Lou Bega" project at BMG/Sony. Throughout the entire term of his contract with the record company, he retained the rights to the name “Lou Bega,” which he had invented.

Goar Biesenkamp (alias ‘Goar B’) is a musician, composer and music producer. He combines the talent and skill of a professional musician, the creativity of a composer, and the creative drive and management experience of a producer.

With 70 gold and platinum awards in more than 40 countries, Goar B is one of the few German producers to have achieved this level of international success. From his music studio he wrote the themes for films and series for Walt Disney, Dream Works, Sony Pictures and Warner Brothers, as well assongs for advertisements for McDonalds, Mercedes, Karstadt, Jacobs Kaffee and Toyota.

Undoubtedly, Goar B's best known and most successful project is ‘Mambo No. 5 - A little bit of...’. The worldwide hit was number 1 in over 20 countries. In the American Billboard sales charts, the album ‘A little bit of Mambo’ reached third place and triple platinum statuswith over 3 million sold units and received a Grammy nomination.

Furthermore, Goar B has also committed himself to intercultural exchange throughmusic as the medium. In 2008, as part of a peace project of the German Development Service, he released an album with famous Afghan musician Farhad Darya, who was appointed UN peace ambassador for Afghanistan shortly after. Goar B began his career as a musician (guitarist) in various international rock and jazz formations. At the same time, he completed a degree inindustrial and electrical engineering, thus training his business thinking and acquiring a great technical knowledge of acoustics and studio technology. During this time his musical career developedincreasingly in the direction of composition and music production. Goar B combined different musical styles with his own compositions, arrangements and music productions in innovative and unique ways.

Before establishing himself as an independent producer and composer with the founding of his company ‘Unicade Music’ in 1997, Goar B worked for several years in various functions at BMG/Sony, one of theleading companies in the music industry.

Goar B has long been committed to supporting the next generation of musicians. With the city of Munich, he initiated the band contest ‘Unüberhörbar’ (i.e.: ‘impossible to overhear’) and the ‘medienBox SongContest’. In addition, he works as a lecturer in music management at the ‘Hochschule Macromedia’, in songwriting at the ‘Akademie Deutsche POP’ as well as at SAE in musicpublishing and ´the structure of the music industry´.
